Trend: Florals and Brights

It's officially Sping and here at Fiorelli HQ, we've fallen for Florals and Brights for the new season. From Burberry's Spring/Summer '14 catwalk, where we saw an array of colours dappled with gorgeous soft detailing, to Mary Katrantzou, where bold florals prints dominated the catwalk in rich cobalt, royal purple and emerald green.

As Summer arrives, this is the perfect time to try these new colourful accessories whether it's head-to-toe style or simply opt for a bright handbag. Our Paris and Harper Mini range stand out with bold statement style in limeade, mandarin and teal. Add one of these to your current look for immediate on trend style, however as these are classic styles, they'll be wearable for many more seasons too.

We've found these lovely floral pieces on the John Lewis EDIT which we thought would be perfectly paired with our bright bags, from casual day time with teal, to wedding guest in pink hues or for the office yellow and pastels florals work beautifully.

Trend: Bold Brights for Spring

It's official, spring has sprung and at Fiorelli HQ, we've been celebrating with bright, bold colours. So, we were delighted when Very felt the same in their latest advert, "Bring the Colour" - can you spot our very own Harper Mini as the star of the ad:

We've put together some of our favourite colourful outfits for a statement colour on colour, showcasing how this trend works for any occasion:

Glamourous Girls Night Out

Our Harper Mini in Limeade is great paired with a maxi dress in cobalt blue or pink to make a real impact. Why not match a strappy yellow sandal or add a statement heel for that final flourish.

Office Style

Our Kenzie Tote is the perfect bag for work and play and now comes in this sumptuous red for Spring/Summer. We'd wear it with this mint green dress and red pointy flats for an on trend Summer work look. Mix it up for after work drinks with our pink Dixie Clutch and some cobalt heels.

Brunch with the Girls

For a casual yet chic look with love this skater dress with our Harper Mini - this time in cobalt blue. Add a contrast of yellow with our lime Harper purse, our neon yellow crystal bib necklace and these cute midi heels for an unmissable style statement.

Do you dare to wear the bright and bold? Send us your colour blocking outfits with #FiorelliStyle via Twitter and Instagram @Fiorelli_Bags.

Paris Fashion Week Report

If you're anything like us you've been glued to the style pages for the last four weeks with fashion month. This week Fiorelli HQ have been enjoying Paris Fashion Week and we couldn't help but take notice of some on trend looks in our very own collection.

The Cut Out
We saw this beautiful laser cut cape by Hunger Games dress designer, Tex Saverio in his sumptuous collection of black and gold pieces. Partnered with a bold statement headpiece, we can't help but love this over the top look.

For a more wearable look, the gorgeous geometry cut out is ever so similar to our black and gold Paris tote, stylish and spacious for every day use.

The Neon Pop
The Rochas show had countless oversized pieces from jackets to dresses, in muted colours for A/W 14. Who doesn't love layering on the pieces in the colder months and throwing a vintage coat over the top. The final flourish was an unexpected pop of colour with bright gloves in orange and yellow.

We couldn't help but think of our Dixie clutch in our favourite Summer colour: Limeade. The Dixie will take you right through to next year with its bold hue taking centre stage. Why not partner it with a tan jacket or plum dress for an on trend look.

Leopard Love
At the Carven show, there were some beautiful cartoon inspired pieces alongside bright coats and dresses with a hint of leopard on collars and cuffs. A simple embellishment which makes for a real style statement for Autumn/Winter '14.

Leopard print has been a strong theme across our Spring/Summer collections and we love how easy it is to style these up with any outfit from bright jumpsuits to a chic black suit.
