Clothes Show Live 2012

This year's Clothes Show Live was bigger and better than ever!

Over 400 fashion & beauty brands were selling exclusively discounted products to 250,000 fashion hungry shoppers. The event was split into different areas and categories.

 The Susuki Fashion Theatre located in the red zone of hall 9 &10 showcased a 45 minute performance of dancers and models with designer Henry Holland and stylist Grace Woodward as the hosts. Special guest appearance by Daisy Lowe happened on the first day of the event, Friday 7th December. Paul Mitchell created the hair styles for the catwalk & Benefit provided the make up for the models. On Monday JLS performed in front of hundreds of screaming fans!

The Fashion Fix area located in halls 7 & 8 is where you have your pictures taken with your favourite celebrities in the paparazzi pen, while Capital FM play the latest tunes to keep you entertained.

Fiorelli was located in the Vision Village where you could pick up great deals from your favourite fashion brands and unique independant labels. The Diet Coke catwalk in association with Cosmopolitan magazine showed the new talent from contributing Colleges and Universities. 

Guilty pleasure! When you needed a sit down and a drink the Vision Village hosted the juice lounge in association with Heat magazine & Heat radio. The perfect place to recharge and we caught Heat's editor Lucy Speed getting rather cosy with two male models!

The beauty hall style studio had hair and beauty demonstrations by celebrity stylists Paul Mitchell, Lee Stafford, Errol Douglas & Leo Bancroft from ITV's This Morning. 

The Style Boutique hosted the luxury Independant labels and we found this stunning feather collection by designer Ruth Milliam.

Britain & Ireland's Next Top Models were on the catwalk modelling the best of high street fashion. They were all so professional and still looked amazing even after the 8th show of the day! The catwalk show took place every 30mins and showed the latest must have's from Warehouse, New Look, Designers at Debenhams, Oasis & Miss Selfridge. What is your favourite collection from the high street?

If you fancied yourself as a model Select model agency scouts were out on force and finding the model faces of the future. If you think you have what it takes, the model master class is where you learnt how to walk like a model. It involved walking with a book on top of your head and trying to keep it there until you finished the catwalk!

... The After Party. After a great event everyone who put all the hard work and effort into making it happen, joined together at Birmingham's Gatecrasher for the official Clothes Show after party! Jodie Harsh DJ and everyone put their new dresses, shoes & handbags on & danced the night away!  

 

Vogue's Fashion Night Out!

Fashion lovers flocked to the west end last night to celebrate Vogue’s Fashion Night Out. The streets were filled with tasty treats, dancing and music and the atmosphere was eclectic! The Fiorelli team were out in force to find the best discounts and goodie bags of the night.

Outside the Missoni store, free designer ice creams were being handed out from a delightful traditional Italian ice cream stand! Vanilla & sorbets were delicious and were a welcome pit stop to refresh from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets.

Meanwhile there were bubbles galore at Burberry!

As to be expected, Burberry boasted an evening of true class as a British fashion icon. Surrounded by a lavish array of classic trench coats and other delights from their AW12 range, the serving of champagne and virgin Mojito’s was a satisfying delight.

We were also offered the opportunity to enter a competition to win a classic Burberry trench coat.

Fingers crossed!

Burberry never fails with there stunning floor length gowns, these Autumnal hues of woodlan green and merlot are just delicious.

These soft white lace shoes and matching small shoulder bag lifted the Autumn collection, perfect for weddings any time of the year!

Fashions finest were out in force and we spotted this trend setter in an amazing black leather and super studded coat!

The Fiorelli team managed to get our hands on a backstage VIP pass! Chilling with the bands and enjoying cocktails with catwalk models and stylists was the highlight of the evening. A stylish time was had by all and we can't wait for next year! 

 

Fiorelli’s Fashion Finders hit VFest 2012!

As the sun shone on the UK to give us the hottest day of the year so far, the Fiorelli team headed down to V Fest in Hylands Park, Essex. Armed with our Fiorelli Fashion Finder t-shirts, Fiorelli wristbands, discount flyers and plenty of water and sun cream we entered this fun-filled festival ready to find our favourite festival looks as well as spreading the Fiorelli love with our freebies!

Renowned for being one of the most glamorous festivals, the girls of V Fest didn’t disappoint! Everyone looked great, and despite the boiling temperature and lack of shade, everyone was still in the mood to party! As we went around, we captured some amazing festival looks and even managed to do a bit of celeb spotting along the way, spying the delectable Louis from One Direction partying away with his stunning girlfriend!

The party mood was clear for everyone to see, with multiple stages around the event providing great entertainment to satisfy all musical tastes! Labyrinth had crowd pumping, whilst James Morrison had everyone swooning and singing along to all his greatest hits. One of our favourite acts of the day was in the smaller but more personal Undercover tent, and came from the wonderful Spanish singing sensation that is Juan Zelada. Perhaps we’re a little biased here, as we are friends with the band (!) but the atmosphere in the tent was electric and this dynamic group had everyone dancing away. Fiorelli's Autumn 2012 Collection

Fiorelli's autumn 2012 collection embraces the beauty of nature's palette as a foundation to the rejuvenation of skins and textures. The earthy hues and rich mid tones are injected with colour pops of citrus, tangerine and aquamarine. Snake skin prints combine a natural textural element and can been seen throughout the collection. Glowing sheens and metallic finishes complete the hedonistic inspiration for autumn's collection.

Fiorelli’s marque has been confidently and creatively used within branding and stunning new linings. The inspiration for the marque comes from Fiorelli itself which means “little flower” in Italian. The marque has been used to decorate all styles within the collection, including embossing, hardware decoration.

'Capulet' captures the rich saturation of colour and shows how powerful colour can be in reinvention. Citrus orange sits orderly next to opulent berry. Snake skin texture combined with a metallic shine optimises style to create a statement piece. Quilting adds depth to simple shapes including oversized pillow clutch, boxy shopper. A reinvention of the Lady bag completes the collection. Simplistic layering creates a bow detail to frame the branded logo.

'Lorenzo' and 'Othello' ranges use simplistic structure within their designs for clean shopper totes and the versatile grab style satchel. These shapes are embodied with colour pops of mouthwatering hues in pistachio, tangerine and vanilla. Deep auburn, racing green and navy complete the range by adding depth and prosperity.
